⌨ Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ for Android ⌨

KINGDOM HEARTS.

This series has been with my since my early teenage years and it definitely left it's mark. Starting with the very first game for the Playstation 2, Kingdom Hearts was everything you'd want in a game; an amazing story, a memorable set of main characters, Disney characters, not-so-dull gameplay, and so much more. As per publisher Square Enix's clear set of standards, the graphics were beautiful, especially during the time of the first game's release  in 2002 (14 long years ago)! As of late, most of us Kingdom Hearts fans have been anticipating the release of Kingdom Hearts III. Unfortunately, the wait continues.
In the mean time, Square Enix has released a mobile Kingdom Hearts game called Unchained χ. Unchained χ is a re-release of the original Kingdom Hearts χ that was released exclusively in Japan for web browsers. Released on April 7, 2016 (about a week ago now) Unchained χ is made for mobile devices, both Android and iOS, so the ease of access is pretty great. Unfortunately my phone is lacking in memory space, so I downloaded KHuχ on Bluestacks on my laptop. It plays perfectly fine with a mouse, so there aren't any problems there.

Upon starting the game, you'll notice that the iconic song plays in the menu screen, Dearly Beloved (indeed it is). That right there makes me reminisce the old games already.

My player card. Such a noob. You can connect your game through Facebook to sync your data and play with friends who also play the game (through a party system). You can change everything about your avatar, including the face and the hair, whenever you choose to. You can also purchase new clothes and accessories for your avatar via the "Avatar Board" using avatar coins. Another thing is that when you start the game, you chose a "Union" to join. I suppose it's like a faction for you to join and there are five to choose from. I personally chose Vulpes. Keep in mind that you can only make a party with people who are in your faction!

The home screen. Don't mind my character doing some weird moves. You can run around the town and bump into fellow players.

Here's the pop-up menu with everything you need for your mobile gaming experience.

So many quests to do, so little time (just kidding) o_o!

In game. Basically a click and drag system. I like it though. You use upgradeable medals (bottom left) in order to do special attacks. Otherwise you just hit heartless with your basic attack. If you take a look at the big "7" next to my HP bar, that's your current overall charge for the special attacks. Each medal has a certain cost so if you use the Mickey medal (charge of 3), then your overall special gauge will drop from "7" to "4". Each quest has three objectives that you want to complete in order to get one, two, or three stars on the overall quest. Don't forget to pick up the sparkly items on the ground and open the chests!

#squadgoals
So all in all, I'm pretty hyped about this game. I can't wait to see how the game progresses as I continue to play. If you're a KH fan or even just looking for something new to try out, give Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ a go!

☆Buying Glasses... Online?☆

In general, there's some things that make you think twice about when purchasing them online. Clothes and shoes may or may not be disaster at times because you really don't know how it'll fit or look on you unless you try them on. I had spent a while thinking about whether or not I wanted or purchase glasses online and was originally against it. It seemed so risky but man, they're so expensive at the optometrist! Prior to actually buying my glasses online, I did go to the optometrist to get my eyes checked and get my prescription but I didn't purchase any glasses with them. With that I was set to go on my search! So with that, I started browsing the interwebs for some sites that I thought looked decent.
I ran across this website called Goggles4u.com. The frames looked quite nice and they came in different sizes. Prior to purchasing them, I did measure parts of my face to make sure I selected the correct size, which was a large. The prices were pretty phenomenal considering that they also included basic lenses. In regards to the lenses, Goggles4u only has plastic lenses. That's fine by me though because I'm prone to breaking things. In the end I chose these:
Glasses: G4U 9928 <== Check em out here!
The frames were already pretty inexpensive at $12.95 and I added the premium lenses ($30.00) that were recommended due to fact that my one eye is just that bad. I chose to add an anti-reflective coating, which was at no additional charge. Overall, my order was about $53.00. Additionally, there's a shipping fee of $5.95. That itself is already a steal for a pair of glasses but when shopping online, it never hurts to hunt for some discount codes. I was able to come across a lovely code for 40% off my order (what?!). So overall, I paid about $38 for the glasses (the case comes with it). Shipping takes about two weeks but it was worth the wait. The glasses fit perfectly and I love the color. I have yet to have any issues with them and it doesn't seem like I will.

I haven't had glasses for a good 6 or so years, so when I put these on, everything was insanely vivid. I'm truly happy with this purchase and will definitely be buying from them again in the future!

☆March ipsy Glam Bag☆

Here comes the March Glam Bag! I always anticipate the 15th of every month as I eagerly wait for that shiny pink package that comes in the mail. It's certainly not a necessity but it's just a little something that I can enjoy every month. It also let's me sample different products without having to go look for them. Seriously, going to the drugstore or Sephora can be a nightmare! I can literally walk around for a good hour or two, reading all the labels and trying to decide which is better than the other /(=_=)\ . In the end I usually leave with nothing except for a headache. So thank you ipsy.

Get the brush here - $12.00

Starting with a tool, I received an eye shadow brush from Beau Gachis Paris. I haven't really purchased any high-end brushes so I don't have a great range of brush-knowledge to compare it to but it fits nicely in my hand and the bristles are soft and fluffy. I like the classic, sleek look that it has with it's black handle and silver ferrule. *Does not mention anything about being cruelty free.

Get the eyeliner here! - $13.00
Shade: Green Go

Sticking with eye products, I got this interesting pencil eyeliner from OFRA Cosmetics in an interesting army-green color with shimmer. I don't have any liners in this color so it'll be interesting to try out. It came with a sticker that said "eyeliner" on it. I peeled it off and saw that they misprinted the product and etched "lipliner" on it instead, thus a sticker to correct the mistake. *Full size. **Vegan

Get the lipstick here! - $7.00
Shade: Pink Lust

Moving on to a lip product, I found a NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in my bag. I saw some reviews on this product from others on YouTube. I have yet to form my own opinion about it yet but just looking at it I'm already a bit intimidated. The hot purple-pink is pretty intense for me so I'm not sure if I'll be okay wearing it or if I'll end up dabbing it of until it's a less extreme shade. Upon opening the lipstick, I found that it's even more bright than it looks on the outside. Pretty crazy. The sponge applicator is rather interesting as well. I dabbed a bit of it onto the back of my hand just to have some idea of the product. It's definitely isn't lacking in the pigment department, that's for sure! That's always a good thing though. It seems to take a while to dry, which can be bad for people like me who randomly touch their face without realizing (not an issue though). It might just be the kind that doesn't fully dry anyways.  *Full size **Cruelty free

Get the bronzer here! - $39.00
Shade: Warm Bronze

I got something a bit different this time in the form of a liquid bronzer by Temptu. As of late, I've been trying to find liquid/cream alternatives to my blushes and bronzers due to my notoriously dry skin. My make up looks 10x better when I DON'T use powder products (other than setting powder). Creamy products usually give my skin a healthy glow, something I really appreciate. On my hand, the product blends right in, so the shade might be too light for my face. It does have a shimmer to it though, so I can alternatively use it as a highlighter instead! It goes on nicely and sits well on my skin. A little on Temptu, though, they different in the fact that they sell airbrush make up. From my bit of experience with airbrush make up, I like it a lot. Using airbrush make up allows for precise layering and really beautiful looks. Temptu's airbrush system in particular looks rather unique. I have considered getting an airbrush kit but I'll hold off on that until I do more research.

Get the argan cream here! - $8.99

The last product in the bag is a hair product, a little tube of Nourishing Argan Oil of Morocco by Marc Anthony. It's main purpose is to prevent frizziness and give your hair a shine after blow drying it. I almost never blow dry my hair, as opt for just waiting for it to air drying to avoid heat damage. This hair product claims to be infused with keratin, which is a protein that is naturally in your hair and nails. Using products infused with keratin can help boost the health of your hair, making it stronger, shinier, and healthier overall. This product has a pleasant scent and even though I don't blow dry my hair, I still like to use this because of the keratin.

☆February ipsy Glam Bag☆

For a while now I've been subscribe to ipsy's (https://www.ipsy.com/) Glam Bag. It's one of the more affordable monthly beauty bags for $10 a month (with free shipping)! Every month you'll be delivered around 5 products, some full sized and some sample sized. As far as I can tell, I normally get a few things that are different from my friends who are fellow subscribers. You get a chance to personalize it with a little "about me" quiz. To personalize your bag even more, you can review the products you get and let them know whether or not you'd like to receive that product or something similar again in a future bag. The bags that the products come in are also really cute. It's almost kind of ridiculous how the number of bags add up. I don't even know what to do with all of them!
This is the Glam Bag for February 2016. This bag is probably, by far, one of my favorites. It looks like a pixelated envelope with a nice heart right in the middle. Pretty retro. I know we're well into February now but I wanted to start with this bag anyways as a test post.

$5.97 at Target
The largest item I've ever received from ipsy is this OGX Quenching Coconut Curls Hair Butter. I've been using this everyday since I got it but not for my hair. I found out that you can actually use it for your skin. Right before I started using this, my skin was as dry as a desert (winter, why must you play me like this?). My cheeks, forehead and nose have been problem areas but this really did the trick. I don't recommend it for long term use though because the coconut oil may cause your skin to break out occasionally. As a skin treatment, though, it does the trick. *Does not test on animals.

$15.00 at Trust Fund Beauty's Website.
Color: I'm Kind of a Big Deal
It seems like ipsy has been putting many of these Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polishes in their bags. I'm not complaining though. They colors are to my taste but I have yet to actually give myself a chance to see it's full staying power. Regardless, my nail polish tends to chip in a day or two on my natural nails, so I suppose it doesn't mean much! Anyways, these polishes are quite pigmented and if I ever have acrylics on, I'd love to use this color. *Vegan and cruelty free.

$21.00 on Amazon.com
Color: Pink Sequin
I've never heard of Vintage By Jessica Liebskind but the lipgloss I received looks REALLY beautiful. It's a light pink with gold shimmer. I'm not too into lipglosses honestly. I prefer a matte or at least a less shiny finish. What I do like is the brush tip. It goes on really smoothly and effortlessly.

$14.99 at nakedcos.com
Shade: SN-02
This Mica Pigment by naked cosmetics is a coppery-bronze loose eye shadow. I think it'll be a great, versatile color that can go with many looks. I can imagine the fallout though. When I opened it the shadow fell all over the place! Did I mention the packaging is really cute?

$42 at Sephora.com
I got a tiny sample of the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil. It's really perfect because my skin is so dry. I used it once so far but my make up seemed to sit on my skin more nicely with my dryness becoming less noticeable. Depending on your skin type, you might want to stay away from this (if you have oily skin) as you'll probably need to blot all day long. Even with dry skin I'd need to dab my skin with a paper towel just to remove some of the excess oil. *Cruelty free

That's it for the contents of February's Glam Bag. Price-wise you get your money's worth (Some of the prices are for full-sized products even though I got the sample sizes but the products that ARE full size already make the bag worth more than the $10 cost)! Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed it and will continue to follow me and help me grow. There'll be more to come soon! :)
